Brief Description:  Pitch trim installation

Installed the "Dial-a-Trim" pitch trim cable. The springs add a fair amount of force to the pitch stick forces. There will definitely be feedback to dial in the trim. Some builders have come up with a mechanical pitch position indicator which will be very useful for setting initial trim for take off.

Marked the low level of the dipstick as best I could guess. With clean oil and the oil wetting the stick at different levels on different sides, it is hard to tell where the level is. I'll hold off on marking the upper level until the oil gets a little darker from use. I added the remaining 3/4 quart of oil and the oil appears in my air/oil seperator return tube.

Cranked the engine without the lower plugs installed and got 60psi on a mechanical guage and 55psi on the Westach electronic gauge. The Tiny-Tach indicated about 200 rpm during cranking. With all plugs installed the mechanical gauge indicated 55psi, the electronic gauge 50psi, and the tach 180rpm. The fact that the tach was giving a reading indicates the secondary ignition was firing, which is where the tach pickup wire is located. Didn't find any oil leaks.
